In the first visit your will receive an assessment and x-rays will be taken to give the dentist a clear picture of the infection and the root canals of the affected tooth.
The tooth will then be prepared with local anesthetic to numb the area around the tooth and a rubber dam will be implaced to keep the area dry during the procedure.
Your dentist will be drill into the tooth so that they can cleanse and remove bacteria and debris from the site.
The tooth will then be filled and sealed. Some dentists may implace a temporary filling to ensure that the infection is completely under control before finishing the procedure.
